Beth Teller's Weekly Post

Gabriela Herman is an editorial and commercial photographer. She specializes in travel, lifestyle, portrait and food photography. Herman was selected for the Critical Mass top 50 and was named "top emerging photographer" in 2010, by Magenta Fountain. Herman has two sides to her work, her professional and her personal (which she posts). Her personal photos are what really drew me in to her. Her use of colors is refreshing. Herman tends to use bold yellows and reds in a good number of her photos. The colors pop and have a great contrast. Many of her photos have a nostalgia feel to them. To me, they feel as if they were created in the 60's-70's.

The photos above are part of her personal collection called "Camp." If you scroll through the album you will see very vivid colors of yellow, orange, and red. She has interesting angles that encourage me to keep trying different views.
