Nicole Orgeron Weekly #3



     Troy Paiva has been practicing photography for 25 years. He only shoots in low light or darkness, usually at night, using minutes long exposure. using the light of the full moon and the theatrics effect of hand held lights, often times colored, Paiva captures the abandoned american west. His work has won 2 awards and his photographs have featured in print world-wide, with three becoming Stephen King book covers.
     Troy Paiva is inspired by abandoned places and the ghost stories they tell. He only photographs at night and sets the mood of the photos with LED's and hand held lights.
