Anna Williams

Anna Williams is a Virginia native from Richmond. She has been assisting commercial photographers ever since she has gotten out of college. In 2000 she was able to break out from everyones shadow and was recognized for her own work in PDN's 30 for 30. Her specialty is in commercial photography but is also very talented in photographing people as well as still life's and food. All which have been able to be used in magazines.

Williams has a very simplistic style that also uses extremely soft and natural light. She also is able to have very intricate set ups but because of the items and colors in her photos it really allows the whole photo to look very well put together. She does a great job of signaling out her focus by using very simple backgrounds or using different colors. A lot of times she takes a picture that is of the whole room and then pairs it with something that is smaller but adds an emphasis on what she is photographing.
