Wolf Ademeit is a photographer born in 1954. Although he takes beautiful photos of animals, he calls photography a hobby rather than a profession. He mostly takes photos of animals in the zoo rather than going out in nature to take his photographs.
In a way, he captures the animals in a photograph as if they were posing. The photos are shot seeming like in the animal's most intimate moment. Wolf seems to also be catching the emotions in these animals as they are caged up which seems to be something he is trying to convey to people. The pictures are also in black and white making the emotions of these animals all the more vivid.
