Jay SanPedro Weekly pt.1

*

Nguan is an asian photographer born and raised in Singapore.  He graduated from Northwestern University of Illinois with a degree in Film and Video Production.  His photographs examine life in the big city and how it interacts with congested spaces.

Viewing his work I embrace the fact that he usually takes photos of people or things singled out in society or from the congestion from the city.  The city is a hectic place where so much is going on and where everyone is interacting with their surroundings.  We tend to forget the simple things of life or solitary.

Looking at his photos I feel that Nguan captures his viewers and his message but think that he should include a more broader background in his images so that we can relate more to the surroundings of the images.
