Erin Mulvehill is a young photographer based in Brooklyn. She shoots on analog 35mm film. Then for her signature 'underwater' photos she scans the negatives into Photoshop. Surprisingly the photos were not taken underwater.

Her Underwater, to be reborn series is of women seemingly trapped under frozen ice water. To show being frozen in time and a rebirth from a mental and emotional state.

I enjoy these photographs because they are so different and show these trapped women under what it looks to be frozen water. After I read more and learned that the original photos were not even taken underwater I had a new appreciation for her art work.
