Bryan Treakle - Weekly Post #3

VitaminMStudios

1. The photographer shot these photos in digital color, keeping a fairly close distance to his subject to capture the detail and emotions animated by the subject.

2. The photographer is a freelance artist the frequents comic conventions and shoots cosplayers, aiming to capture the essence of the characters that they are portraying. Some are shot candidly in passing in the convention hall, such as the first two photos, while others are arranged and shot in less crowded areas for more in character expression from the cosplayer, such as the third photo.

3. The photographer did minimal if any post editing of the photos, so what you see is the rawest essence of the cosplayer portraying the Joker. Because he choose to not alter the images, you can really focus on the subject and the animation being enacted by him.
