Megan Wingfield- Weekly post 5

Roger Minick uses a flash-mounted medium-format camera to take all of his photographs. His subjects are typically center-weighed. He also uses vivid color to enhance his photos. All of his photos are of real people enjoying beautiful places around america. All of his photos are taken relativity close to his subjects.

The first photo is of a lady sitting on a ledge, looking out at the mountains. The lady is dressed as if she is in her 70s and it looks as if it is cold where she is. The next photo is of a fat american man walking across a walkway in front of  a beautiful mountain scene. The last photo is of a man with his shirt open holding a dog. They are standing probably about 5 feet away from Roger.

I like how Roger Minick's photos are of real people instead of models. It makes his work pure and more enjoyable to look at. I love how he took something like nature that everyone loves and photographed people as they were passing by. He went on a road trip all around the country, going to all of the highest tourist attractions so he could get the best photographs possible.
