Jane Burton
This photographer, Jane Burton chose to take pictures of the water with her pet dog laying there, and to show each angle that she viewed it from. She chose low lighting as well as grey scaling these photographs. These photos were taken in 2012.
These photographs were taken at a beach, where Jane tried to get different angles of making it look almost realistic as well as her captioning the water being so calm and still making it almost unreal. The lining of the sand to the water is a great use of contrast as well.
The last photograph of her dog laying there on the beach looks almost as if it is sleeping and just enjoying the relaxation. It almost makes me feel like its a cool fall day with the water looking so calm and collective and the dog is just laying there rather than playing around in it as if it were at hot summer day. I like the way the evened the photo out with the water and sand line as well.
