Karissa Gilbertson Brandon Seilder weekly post #4 for monday the 7th

These were done by Brandon Seilder  whom made these in color then used methyl methacrylate to make them look warped and burned.

The point was to make these in remembrance of these photos chemical spill off of 287 in New Jersey.  The same chemicals spilled on these pictures were spilled in the water ways shown.  This was to show the toxicity of the chemicals used and to demonstrate their strength on the environment on a smaller scale but with a big message.  He was inspired when he saw the devastation first hand when he visited the area.

I love these! This message was clear, I love the small scale destruction showing the large scale implements on the environment.  The chemicals used, although toxic, did their job and made some stunning pictures! Please check out this artist guys!
