1. Charlotte Cotton is a photography curator. She commissions and assembles abstract works of art into art books. She's more well known for her work "Photography is Magic". It contains over 80 artist's work and how abstract work in photography is changing the art scene. (examples above)
2. Mrs. Cotton's style is to appeal to a wider range of the artistic world. Some people would believe that photography can't be truly abstract due to the real life nature of photography, but Charlotte aims to prove that theory wrong. The art work she collects tend to revolve around the female form or the natural world but, then warps it with vibrant colors and schemes.
3. I love the artwork Charlotte displays in her publications. Most photographs are only appreciated if it's taken in the natural world at the right moment in time. Charlotte aims to shoot that art in photography can be appreciated even if tampered with. Photography can become another form of abstraction just like painting or sculpting.
