In Daisuke Yokota's photographs, he uses a lower quality image setting. He makes pictures in mainly black and white and uses flash.
The way Daisuke Yokota made these photos makes it seem like he wanted the subjects to be off guard. His use of flash made it obvious that all the subjects were in dark rooms. Normally people do not get their picture taken in dark rooms. He has a very unique style of making pictures.
I was drawn to Daisuke Yokota's use of flash. His use of flash combined with where he positioned his subjects gave it a dark mood. I usually pick the more bright photographers but the way he makes pictures was interesting to me. The picture does not have to be extremely clear to be good.
