Taylor Quinley Artist Post #5

Karol's Janulis

1. The artist for these photos is Karolis Janulis. He always wanted to see the world as birds instead. A lot of his pictures do not follow the typical cliches. He began wanting to take pictures from a birds eye view when he noticed the unique perspective from hot air balloons and planes.

2. Janulis started taking these pictures by just trying to get higher up. His goal was to make the world become small. He stated that when he first started taking pictures from this perspective it was easy because these places were not yet discovered. He uses the DJI Phantom Drone. He also has a license to fly it everywhere to capture these amazing images.

3. I really like the images that Karol’s Janulis has captured. They are very unique and I have never seen anything like them before. The pictures are beautiful and amazing quality for them being from a drone.

  1. I really like how there's always a pop in color somewhere in the photos. Taking them in a bird's eye POV also benefits the overall photo by showing what kind of scene we're missing or living in.
