Callie Ward Artist Post 1

1. Tony D'Orio or known as Tony "Bag of Donuts" wanted to make pictures of people and their expressions. He fell in love with taking photos of peoples faces in Chicago that his best photos are the expressions of people. He would take pictures in a " voyeuristic style". After college he discovered the "Camera Obscura" and ever since then he has never wanted to put it down. He has found ways of using light to help make his pictures the way he wanted.
2. The theme of each photo has a hidden message. Each picture has a mood or emotion, whether that be happiness or sadness the person(s) make. In the first picture it is supposed to be "Adam and Eve". Their facial expressions show shock or maybe a confused look. The second shows a sad toddler that does not look so happy to be where ever he may be. The third picture should an boring, unhappy couple.
3. After looking through Tonys popular album on his page, each photo looks successful. He seems to know what he wants to capture on his camera and what he wants to get from it. Some of his photos look like they play out nicely whether the expressions were intentional of not. Some look candid and more natural which in my opinion, can look better than planned photos.
