For my last post today I decided to post the work of Kalle Lundholm, a Swedish lifestyle and travel photographer. I have selected photos from a recent project of his while he was visiting the Philippine island Siargao. He used a Nikon camera(not specified) with a lightweight latex cover for protection from the elements. Each photo is vibrant with color, suggesting that he allowed a decent amount of sunlight to hit the lens and bring out all of the highlights. He even took the risk to take underwater shots to show the quality of the water surrounding the beautiful island. I'm not sure of the concept of the peace. However the theme is travel photography. Maybe a onlooker will stumble upon these photos and have a new vacation destination in mind. As for myself, these photos do that exact thing. They inspire me to learn about locations such as these so maybe one day I can visit as well. From a photography stand point I would also like to be able to take photos of this caliber even if they aren't in exquisite locations. He knows to capture lighting in the best conditions as well as composition in how he takes each photo.
