Kerry Goodman Post #3

Robert Adams
 1. Robert Adams took a lot of his pictures with a 35mm reflex camera. Mr. Adams spends most of his photos in a black and white style with a heavy spotlight on shadows being the central subject. Adams takes many photos with a central shadow image as the focus. Many of his photos follow this trend.

 2. The American Landscape is Adam's core subjects in his photos. He strives to create a other worldy feel than what we experience on the regular. We are so used to see the world in color, but Adam's use of photography and shadows makes the audience uneasy. Giving off a sense of despair that he creates in his photos, it makes you look at nature in everyday life.

  3. Robert Adams has a rich career in the arts. He has had his work shown in many galleries and he personally has written multiple essays on his art and other art's work. Adam's has shown that the vast nature of loss in the world can still bring out the beauty in what it holds. That just because something isn't vibrant and colorful, doesn't mean its not beautiful.
