Cynthia Bowles- Weekly Post 5

1. In the first photo, he most likely underexposed the image. He focused on the the girl while still capturing the contrast and detail of the background by having a wider aperture. In the second photo, the color contrast is probably the most important part. The vibrance of the reds and green draws attention to the girl's face. In the third photo I think he hand held the camera at a slow shutter speed with 100 ISO. He captured the movement of the girls hair while still being able to get detail in parts of her hair and face.
2.  Sean Scheidt is a portrait photographer. He captures the detail and expression of his subjects. He pays close attention to his choices in aperture, shutter speed, and quality of the photos he take. Based on how good his photos are, I can tell he makes the picture instead of just taking the picture of the person. For example in the second photo, he most likely positioned her in front of those flowers with those glasses in order to get that contrast.
3. I really enjoy Sean Scheidt's photos. I like how he sets up the subject and scene to create the "perfect" picture. He treats each photo as if he is painting a portrait. I like the editing that he might have done to make each photo sharper.
