1. Blake Fitch took photos of young girls in princess outfits. Fitch used a camera and natural lighting in the photos. In the photos Fitch makes the little girls the center of the photo to put the focus on them. The young girls are all in grassy areas and other outside areas similar to the Disney princesses.
2. In the photos above Fitch has become interested in princess which relate to her 4 year old daughter. Fitch intentions in the photo is to bring attention to how "Disney Princesses" are idealized by many young girls over the world. Some parents argue you the princess phase is just a part of growing up and others argue that these princesses and other like characters damage a young girls physical beauty and conformity.
3. I personally enjoyed the works. I feel as though Blake Fitch has great intentions of her work. Young girls idealize the princesses and they look at them and try to look like them and be like them. this can and will be dangerous for up and coming generations because some of these girls will develope identiy issues.
