1. Roe Ethridge is a postmodernist photographer from Miami, Florida but not resides in New York City. He has many photographs in magazines from Vice to Allure. He makes a name for himself in his style and attention to detail in his portraits, still lives, and landscapes. These images are from his "Sacrifice Your Body"
2. Ethridge's "Sacrifice Your Body" tells a story. Throughout his book their are images from around the world starting with Florida and going as far as Paris. It is said that the work gets personal and a lot of the images are based on his relationship with his mother. Etheridge does a wonderful job with lighting, shadows, depth, and reflections that make the pieces well balanced.
3. I like all his images. I like the range of colors and how well he does with showing depth with the lighting and shadows. It has a good contrast between background and foreground. The images are well balanced and clear. I think from learning more about underexposing and overexposing our images I can see how he takes that into effect and applies it to his art.
