Callie Ward Artist Post 3

1. Anne Geddes's goal within each photo is show "protected, nurture and love". Her philanthropy is to prevent child abuse all over the world. She works with babies but their is a ton of repositioning and catching the right angles if a baby is not wanting to stay still. Her viewpoints are at the babies eye level and each photo has a soothing sense. She dresses each baby.
2. Every baby in her photos is dressed up in some sort of costume. She has a selection of baby photos and its names "under the sea" and their are photos of babies dressed up as a seahorse or sea shell with the background having some sort of ocean look. Her overall theme has to do with love, parenthood, babies and nurturing.
3. After looking throughout her photos, she showed happy looking babies and after reading about her philanthropy she wanted to show that babies deserve happiness. Each photo is not dark or sad, they are happy and comforting. I think she executed each photo successfully but I personally believe she could make pictures of toddlers or young kids not just babies.
