Callie Ward Artist Post #10

1. Andrew G. Hobbs made his famous pictures with famous people for example Missy Elliot. He used color and lighting as his elements of photography. He mostly did self portraits with people for magazines and posters. In his blog it said he mostly worked with fashion.
2. All of Andrews images had a purpose, whether it be for people or their clothing. His compositions look very similar throughout each piece. Each person looks as if they are showing off a piece of clothing or just enjoying life. He seemed to always try to use bright lighting to make the people glow.
3. I believe that Andrew Hobbs worked well with lighting, color and composition. But a lot of the models are somewhat in the center of piece every time. I like in the first photo he used a range of color and it was not a human beings face, it was objects made to make a human face which gives a different perspective. The last picture shows crisp clean cut lines with a great amount of light.
