Kimberly Richardson Post 10

1.      Ziman’s work is mainly featured in Africa but extends to wherever his desire of expression takes him. He positions the props to wherever he feels best suits the image and expresses the image to the highest understanding of his representation and purpose. He captures his images using mostly digital using an 8x10 composition.
2.      Ziman’s main intent is to bring awareness to horrendous sport of trophy hunting. Specifically focusing in South Africa. He collects the remains of the animals that faced this unfortunate event and has the bones covered in beads. Taking five men and more than 80 pounds of beads.  After the bones have been expressed in beads he places them back in nature as sculptures. The sculptures resemble the animal’s natural position and environment to the best of its ability.
3.      Ziman’s work allows the awareness of this cruelty to be known in an expressive way that really honors the animal and brings awareness to the situation with a means of beauty and story.
