Rusty Wiles

Rusty Wiles is a firefighter and a paramedic living in Fort Pierce, Florida. I couldn't find any information on the type of camera that he uses. He has two sons, and he and his wife are currently expecting another child. He loves photography, but he has prioritized his family and his job before his art.
Wiles makes pictures of Fort Pierce, which is his hometown as well as where he currently resides. His main objective seems to be to capture the color in the different places around town. He also takes light into account, and a lot of his pictures are made before his 7am shifts at work. While most of the pictures I found contain buildings, his main focus is still more about the color and less about the physical object in the frame.
I think Wiles' work fits well with our first project. He doesn't seem to care too much about the actual buildings in his pictures and instead focuses on the colors. He captures it when the sun is where he wants it to be to make his compositions the most ideal. He is very aware of his frame, as well as the way the light he has chosen effects the structure and color of his subject. The results are stunning pictures of things that may seem very common place in Fort Pierce, but he manages to make them stand out through the use of these techniques,
