Brent uses a blurry background for all of his pictures and zooms directly in on the subject he is making pictures of. His photos show a shallow depth of field. To capture these his lens had to have a really big hole such as an f/2.
He focuses mainly on landscapes and animals when he makes pictures. He captures majority in color. He has to use high zoom lenses to capture these photos because the animals are too dangerous to get close to.
I think he has the correct exposure in these pictures. You can see the details of the subject well. The blurry background really works because it makes your focal point the animal. If you could see all the details in the background I think it would take away from the subject.
